The Beautiful and Bad

Recently did a series of gigs near the Peak District where it was beautiful and recent snow made the going difficult to say the least!  Stayed in a large but cheap hotel as my base.  No names but it was the most wonderfully BAD hotel ever... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the whole place was hilarious... sticky carpet, bare plaster walls, windows that don't shut, curtains with holes, a spot the uncracked tile competition in the bathroom, NO FOOD (reception kindly explained the 24-hour garage down the road has sandwiches) and a leather headboard feature (see picture).
